Released: January 2001 Astoria Homes Hosts Successful Blood Drive at IronwoodOn Monday, October 9th 2000, during National Fire Prevention Week, Astoria Homes held a blood drive in honor of Las Vegas Fire Captain Nathan Pechacek. Mr. Pechacek is a homebuyer at Astoria Homes' Ironwood Community and was critically injured in an automobile accident. Astoria Homes, in cooperation with United Blood Services, collected 33 units of blood, which can help save 99 lives. We'd like to thank everyone who
came out in support of the blood drive, especially
