Astoria Homes Spreads Holiday Cheer by Participating in
Candelighters Holiday Toy Drive

Astoria Homes helped in spreading joy this holiday season by collecting toys for Candelighters for Childhood Cancer of Southern Nevada. Candelighters is a nonprofit support group for families of children with cancer. Astoria Homes' employees and vendors collected new toys for children, from infants to 21-years old. The new toys are used for many of their projects, such as hospital visits, the annual holiday party for the children, the toy box at the clinics, and care packages for children who get treatment out of town. "Stuffed animals can always make a painful procedure or a hospital stay more bearable," says Candelighters. Thank you to everyone who helped brighten the holidays for the children.
