Astoria Homes and
Entertainer Clint Holmes Join Forces
for Make A Difference Day
Astoria Homes is proud
to announce that they will be joining
the national effort to "Make
A Difference." In celebration
of the October 23rd event, Astoria
Homes will join forces with Las Vegas'
newest singing sensation, Clint Holmes,
to put on a concert on Sunday, October
24th, with all of the proceeds going
to Catholic Charities child care
center and Regina Hall, their home
for teen girls. Clint will join Astoria
Homes executives on Saturday, October
23, as they visit the sites and officially
donate the funds raised.
The concert will be
held at Harrah's (Holmes' new
home in Las Vegas as he brings his
act uptown to the
strip in January) at 7:30 p.m. on
Sunday night, October 24th. Holmes,
Vegas' newest four-star entertainer,
met with rave reviews while he performed
his personal brand of magic at the
Golden Nugget for the past six months.
Holmes' popularity among Las
Vegas locals is no surprise as he
gets out and donates his time almost
weekly to worthy causes in the city.
In September, he sang at the Juvenile
Diabetes Walkathon to kick off the
walk and announced his excitement
at working with Astoria Homes on
this concert.
Holmes will gather a few friends
to appear in the Astoria Homes Concert
to Make a Difference. Celebrity participants
include tap-dancing sensation Lindell
Blake from Madhattan, Comedy Magician
Michael Holly who has appeared in
Spellbound and specially selected
student acts from the Las Vegas Academy
of Performing Arts.
